On October 3, 2008, FDIC deposit insurance increased from $100,000 to $250,000 per depositor through December 31, 2009. On May 20, 2009 this increase in coverage was extended through December 31, 2013. Community Bank participates in the FDIC’s transaction account guarantee program. Funds held in noninterest-bearing transaction accounts are insured in full by the FDIC through December 31, 2010.
